Forest Fire????!!!!

I was at camp last night and guess what happened?! A FOREST FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it was like 25 feet away from my cabin cluster! (Group of cabins.) These people were making a camp fire when they weren't supposed to. And they shouldn't have because their Cabin cluster were on fire!!!! Were wish we had a picture!

HI! I got back from a 6 day camp on friday. It started at 2:00 on father's day and ended that friday. on tuesday we discovered a mom copper head inside our cabin cluster! then we found out about 4 babys! they have the most venom! then last we found out about the dad. the counslers killed 2 babys & the mom:( But be sides all that I was pretty fun. we swam.But it rained every day.we had hourse back and drama. Baby Snapping turtle

Once when I was 4, I saw a baby Snapping turtle on the street. I picked it up and put it in my sand box. But the sand box had no sand. I tried to provide for it. My mom and I picked berries for it, I got some blocks and a little tub of water. I will never forget that moment. It was the first time I ever interacted with an animal. Since then I have been doing more and more things with animals. First I wrote a book. When I realized that was not enough I made the wolf club. I hope the Club helps Kids and Adults to realize how important it is to protect the earth and animals. I am working really hard to make this dream come true!

This is the cake I got on "Jaedyn Day" from the volunteers at the Seacrest Wolf Preserve. I liked it a lot! I almost ate the whole thing! I kept licking the frosting from the cake when my mom was not looking!

The volunteers also got me a really cool shirt that has this same picture on the front and a picture of a wolf howling on the back.

Here is a picture of me in a local Newspaper. Behind me is a display I made for the Seacrest Wolf Preserve. I was collecting donations that day to help a beautiful artic wolf named "Spirit". My goal was to raise $1000. I was not able to do that, but I have not given up trying either.
I also made a display to spread awareness about the Bears of Banff National Park. I'll write more about them later.

I had a book signing at my house Sunday.
It was really fun. Over 50 people came (including a reporter from the Sun). I had set-up a table about the Bears of Banff National Park. My friends and their parents wrote letters to Canadian Pacific Railway to ask them to stop dropping grain on the tracks.
I also made a display and talked about Seacrest Wolf Preserve. I told everyone about Spirit, the artic wolf that was hurt, and tried to raise money for him.

My favorite wolf in Florida is from Seacrest Wolf Preserve. He got his arm amputated because he was very sick and if they didn't he would have died!! I'm making a donation to Seacrest so that Spirit (the wolf I love) can get

The Interview

Interviewer: Hi Jaedyn, Thanks for letting me have this interview.
Jaedyn: You’re welcome. I really appreciate that I got to be here.

How did you come up with the idea for your book?
I was reading a really awesome magazine that talked about Endangered Species and decided I should write about it in my own way. So I got lined paper and told my mom my idea.

Did you really ask to sell your book door to door?
Yes, because I wanted to sell them fast so I could help and adopt an endangered animal.

What Endangered Animals will you adopt first?
A Tiger, a cheetah and a snow leopard. I am also thinking of rescuing a fish, Kitty, and puppy from a Shelter, even though they are not endangered.

What other things do you like to do?
I like to read, play, gymnastics, and do ballet.

What is are favorite foods?
My favorite foods are apples, bananas, carrots, and a lot of other things.
