New Moon® News: 7-year-old Jaedyn writes and publishes to save endangered animals

Here is a picture of me in a local Newspaper. Behind me is a display I made for the Seacrest Wolf Preserve. I was collecting donations that day to help a beautiful artic wolf named "Spirit". My goal was to raise $1000. I was not able to do that, but I have not given up trying either.
I also made a display to spread awareness about the Bears of Banff National Park. I'll write more about them later.

I had a book signing at my house Sunday.
It was really fun. Over 50 people came (including a reporter from the Sun). I had set-up a table about the Bears of Banff National Park. My friends and their parents wrote letters to Canadian Pacific Railway to ask them to stop dropping grain on the tracks.
I also made a display and talked about Seacrest Wolf Preserve. I told everyone about Spirit, the artic wolf that was hurt, and tried to raise money for him.

Oh No!!

My favorite wolf in Florida is from Seacrest Wolf Preserve. He got his arm amputated because he was very sick and if they didn't he would have died!! I'm making a donation to Seacrest so that Spirit (the wolf I love) can get
the special care he needs to get well.

I am going to New York!!!!!!

I am going to New York for modling because I was one of best kids!!!!! I will probably see my anut Jill there too!!!! I am so excited!!!!!!!

Baby Kitten died.

I am so sad every day now because my gramma's cat Baby Kitty died. I hope he is ok.

WhenJaedyn woke up she saw two fairies! Then she whent to breakfast and it was better! When she went to her best friend's house she was nice! Jaedyn was so happy!

I needed to go back to KochyKat in the night to see it again! In KochyKat it's morning when here it is night. And now there is more wheat because I helped grow some! When I was a baby, the queen of KocheyKat, Ganosha, kept going in my mind and telling me that I was a member of the KochyKat Famliy.

Chapter one: A New Life

Jaedyn said to herself,'' Why can't I have a better life?" Her mother sighed. Jaedyn counted from one to ten. She asked, "Mom why can't I have a better life?" "Sweet-pea, there is no better life!" Jaedyn had a cell phone, so she called her best friend, Jessica. She asked,"Why did you call me?" "Well," Jaedyn replied, "I wanted to know how to live a better life." "Ha, Ha, Ha! That is the most dumbest thing ever!! I am not your friend any more," replied Jessica!! Jaedyn ran into the garden cryng. "Mommy!!!! Jessica isn't my friend any more!!!!" "NO" Asked her mom? "Well, she might just kid a little. We will talk it out."

We Got Lola!

We got lola today! We are so happy! She is a little shy too. She also hides sometimes, and that scares us a lot!!!! We love her so much!My mom's allergies are killing her too!

One day I was playing ball with my little sister Kristina. But then she noticed all of my cd's and broke my CD'S!!!! I am so mad at her!

A Hero!

When I was done with my book I did not know what to do because I did not know where an artist was. My mom and I were very sad. Wow! Then a super E- mail came to rescue us! Then we were happy! A wonderful woman named Becky showed us to Debra! She drew everything I wanted.

A letter

Dear Shelter,

Thank you for letting us have Lola! We can't wait to have her home with us! I even have a First Aid kit for if she gets hurt! I really love her! And we have everything for her!

Your Car Is Broken.

When I was on my way back home from getting Lola we got a good treat! Can you gess what it was? Right! McDonald's!But when we where going in the garage... My dad broke my mom's car!

Tiger!

We finally get to have Tiger! I am soooo happy! We are going to get her onMonday. She has to get shots and say good-bye to her old friends. (It is Friday.)

A New Cat

My mom is going to get a cat named Sigman. We wanted to name her Tiger because she is orange and has black stripes on her. She is two months old too. I love her very much! But daddy does not.I hope he will get it! I love you Tiger!

My Letter to The Zoo

Dear ******** Zoo,
I love your Zoo so much that I want to help there! I want to help by taking care of the animals, help buy things, and to pick up the trash so none of the animals will get sick or die. Can I come every Sunday? I know you thnk I can not, but I am not going to be alone!

The Interview

Interviewer: Hi Jaedyn, Thanks for letting me have this interview.
Jaedyn: You’re welcome. I really appreciate that I got to be here.

How did you come up with the idea for your book?
I was reading a really awesome magazine that talked about Endangered Species and decided I should write about it in my own way. So I got lined paper and told my mom my idea.

Did you really ask to sell your book door to door?
Yes, because I wanted to sell them fast so I could help and adopt an endangered animal.

What Endangered Animals will you adopt first?
A Tiger, a cheetah and a snow leopard. I am also thinking of rescuing a fish, Kitty, and puppy from a Shelter, even though they are not endangered.

What other things do you like to do?
I like to read, play, gymnastics, and do ballet.

What is are favorite foods?
My favorite foods are apples, bananas, carrots, and a lot of other things.

My dream job is to have a pet or even to be treated like a queen! I also want to be a ''Cheer Leader'' for the Dallas Cowboys! But my ultimate dream job is to be a writer one day!
